Link Analytics

The link view shows how a tracking link is performing. Stat cards report total clicks, the last click, and when the link was created, with a Click Performance chart and the full link details below.

From Relay, open the link you want to inspect. The page header shows the short link alongside a copy button and the destination it points to, so you can grab the shareable URL without leaving the analytics view.

Everything on this page is read-only reporting. To change how the link behaves, such as toggling UTM stamping or password protection, head to the link edit page covered in the Link Options guide.

Read the stat cards

Three stat cards sit near the top of the view. Total Clicks is the lifetime click count for the link, formatted with thousands separators. Last Click shows the date and time of the most recent click, or a dash when the link has never been clicked. Created shows the date the link was made, with the year beneath it.

Total Clicks is a running lifetime counter. It is not narrowed by the date pills on the chart below, so treat it as the all-time total rather than a windowed figure.

Review Click Performance

The Click Performance panel carries date-range pills for 7d, 30d, 90d, and All. As clicks are tracked over time, this panel visualizes them so you can see when traffic spiked or tapered. A brand new link, or one that has not been clicked yet, shows an empty state reading "Click analytics will appear here as clicks are tracked."

If you just created and shared a link, give it time to accumulate clicks before expecting the chart to populate. The empty state is normal until the first clicks land.

The Link Details panel lists the full configuration of the link: the Short Link, the Destination it redirects to, the Domain, the Slug, the Campaign it belongs to, an optional Description, and the Modified date. When a campaign is set, its name is a link you can follow to the campaign view; otherwise the field reads None.

Use this panel to confirm the link is pointing where you expect and is attributed to the right campaign. If the destination or campaign is wrong, fix it on the link edit page.

Tip

Total Clicks is a lifetime counter and is not affected by the date pills on the Click Performance chart. Use the chart's date ranges to study trends, and the Total Clicks card for the all-time number.

Troubleshooting

Clicks are not increasing

If a link is disabled in Link Options, clicks stop being tracked and the link returns a 404, so the click count will not grow. Open the link edit page and confirm the Enabled option is checked. Also confirm you are sharing the exact short link shown in the header, since a mistyped slug will not resolve to this link.

The chart stays empty

The Click Performance chart only fills in once clicks have been recorded for the link. A newly created or never-clicked link will keep showing the empty state. Confirm the link is enabled, reachable, and has actually received traffic in the selected date range.
