TagPipes + Amazon S3
Read files from your own S3 bucket into Lens, without handing over access keys.
Lens: your S3 bucket as a source
Lens reads files from a bucket you own into tables in your workspace. It never writes to the bucket or deletes anything in it.
How you set it up
- Give TagPipes read access without sharing keys: either a bucket policy that grants the TagPipes AWS user, or an IAM role that TagPipes assumes. The role name must start with Rawsoft, and an external ID is optional.
- In Lens, open Data Tables, click + New Table and choose S3.
- Point it at the bucket and an optional filename pattern, then set the schedule.
| What it reads | CSV or JSONL files, with an optional transform at sync time. New files are picked up by their timestamp. |
|---|---|
| Limits | No Parquet. A transform that drops every row looks like an empty file in the sync history. |
| Plan | Included with every Lens plan. |

How your data is handled
- Credentials you add are stored in Settings > Security & Access, and you can remove them there at any time.
- Each company sees only the data from the accounts and sources it connected.
Read the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
TagPipes monitors, configures and reports. It does not determine legal compliance and does not provide legal advice. Output is informational and reflects observed state at the time of observation. Rawsoft's expertise is technology, not law; please confirm any regulatory interpretation with your own counsel.
Use the files you already have.
Sign up and point Lens at your bucket, or ask us for a walkthrough first.
