Echo: Shopify order and refund webhooks

Echo receives the order and refund webhooks your store sends. It does not read or change anything in your store.

How you set it up

In Echo, open Sources, add a Server to Server source and choose Shopify as the platform.
Paste the URL into Shopify Admin under Settings > Notifications > Webhooks.
Store Shopify's signing secret in Settings > Security & Access and select it on the source. Every webhook is signature-checked.

What it receives	Order and refund events with the order ID, totals, tax, shipping, discounts, status and line items. Shopify's webhook ID becomes the event ID.
Event names	Events are named shopify.order.* and shopify.refund.*, deliberately not purchase, so they do not double-count with browser purchase tracking.
Personal data	Customer names, emails, addresses, IP addresses and notes are dropped by default.
Limits	These events carry no browser session, so they are not attributed to a visit. This is the webhook route you set up in Shopify Admin.
Plan	Included with every Echo plan. Lens tables need a Lens plan.

How your data is handled

Credentials you add are stored in Settings > Security & Access, and you can remove them there at any time.
Each company sees only the data from the accounts and sources it connected.
